EXAMPLES: Newsletters and Bulletins

Newsletters and E-bulletins can be the most powerful tool for promoting an organisation.

CaVSA newsletter

CaVSA Newsletter Cover June 2007This newsletter (which varies between 12 and 16 sides) needed a strong identity to ensure that it was recognised following a name change within the organisation.

Each page was tied together with specific visual cues so that it worked as a document. The document is two-colour only which meant that the use of colour was more important to highlight important information effectively.

Green Register 'mango' newsletter

This newsletter was designed to be distinct, using an A3 sized document folded twice like a leaflet. This had the benefit of being able to split the news easily into sections.

WBLA E-bulletin

WBLA E-bulletin AnimationE-bulletins are an excellent way of communicating directly with a target audience through e-mail, in this case through members.

The bulletin was designed to retain a basic style that complements the overall brand. In order to ensure maximum receipts the design was kept very simple and included only 1 image. hyperlinks were embedded in the coloured bars on the right below the title to enable users to reach the relevant points in the bulletin quickly. The bulletin links to the website which keeps the file size small as most content is kept there.
